I think using the previous IOAI problems is a good starting ground. idk how else the test is going to be like.

There is a handwriting part, I guess starting by memorizing codes instead of using automatic prompts would be helpful.

I feel IAOI problems, after like problems #1 or #2, get really advanced for beginners…

These were posted back when USAAIO first began and we pretty much knew nothing about the competition. Everyone was using the international sample problems because those were the only problems available that we could use for practice.
The “handwriting part” was speculation based on the fact that a portion of the competition involved non-coding tasks relating to AI. You are more or less expected to type out your soklutions instead.
